Biography of Abigaba Daniel (DVJ Dany)
Abigaba Daniel, popularly known as DVJ Dany, was born in 2003 in Fort Portal City, Uganda. He is a passionate tech specialist, media entrepreneur, and philanthropist with a mission to use technology and creativity to transform communities.
Daniel studied at Nyakagongo Primary School and later at Fort Portal Secondary School, completing his studies in 2022. Driven by curiosity and innovation, he became a self-taught technology specialist, now practicing high-level tech development at the Bridge Institute of Information Technology.
He currently works with KRC Uganda, and contributes as an author and media creator for Fort TV and KRC 102 FM, where he shares stories that inform, inspire, and empower audiences.

Daniel is the Founder and Head of Powerstar Media Uganda, a fast-growing creative and digital media company. Through Powerstar Media, he leads teams that design websites, produce graphics, manage artists, and develop media content. The company also runs several child brands — Dany Shots, Powerstar TV, and Powerstar Radio — all dedicated to building a strong, creative, and connected digital generation.
Beyond technology and media, Daniel is deeply committed to philanthropy. He serves with organizations like Gold Deity Foundation and Runedi Initiative, championing projects that address community transformation and social change. Through his campaign “Photography for Change,” he uses the power of imagery to tell stories that raise awareness and inspire action.
In addition to his work, Daniel is an author of the book “Beyond the Screen: A Tale of Virtual Connections,” which explores how technology shapes relationships, identity, and modern communication.
Daniel is married to Kobusinge Cynthia, and together they share a vision of impacting lives through faith, creativity, and innovation.
